Order a work

Personalized advice

A question about an artist, a work or a technique, our team is at your disposal. We support you at each stage of your acquisition.

Your Order

The characteristics of the artworks offered for sale are presented for each work in the section of our site "Indigenous Art", accessible by clicking on the image. On the product page you can zoom in on the image to see more details. By adding it to your basket, you will be able to order the art you wish to acquire.

Orders can only be made via the FairArt website.

At any moment you may review your basket for all elements you wish to purchase and the associated shipping costs.

We advise you to contact us to check on the availability of the work. Each work of art is a unique piece and we need to often recheck with the artist.

Shipping charges

Shipping costs are generally included in the price of the art with the exception of large format works such as sculptures for which the shipping costs take into account the size, weight of the work and the place of delivery. In this case the shipping costs will be communicated to you with the order confirmation.

The taxes

  • For buyers with a delivery address in the European Union, you are not subject to any customs duties.

  • For buyers outside the European Union, you may be required to pay import taxes or duties when you receive the artwork you have ordered. We cannot give you an estimate of these customs duties for the import of works of art so we advise you to contact the competent local customs authorities before placing your order. You are responsible for paying these taxes and customs duties.

Delivery

FairArt takes care of the relationship with the carrier for both the delivery and the insurance of the work. We work with the most recognized carriers on the market: UPS, FEDEX, DHL, as well as national carriers for departure from the country of origin.

The packaging

Particular care is given to the packaging of each work. The quality of the packaging and the use of suitable materials will ensure optimum protection during transport.

For example, for a painting, the work will be rolled up in a hard tube to be protected during travel.

How long does it take for an order to reach you?

Once the work has been made available to the carrier, you will have to expect a transport time of 10 working days on an average to 15 working days at the most.

Overall, between your order on the website and delivery to your home or the address of preference, it will take between two to three weeks.

Reception of the work

The purchaser or his representative must inform the carrier of any reservations (eg: damaged package).

You have 14 days to report any defects to us: The work is damaged; the product does not conform to the product ordered; please let us know about your complaint by sending us an email at fairart.indigenous@gmail.com. Our team will be reactive to resolve the dispute, as quickly as possible and under the best conditions.

How to return a work to FairArt

For any acquisition made on our online gallery, and if you are a national of the European Union, you will have 14 days from receipt of the ordered work to exercise your right of withdrawal from FairArt. This without having to justify it for a reason and without having to pay a penalty.

The work must be returned directly to the artist's address which will be communicated to you.

After checking that the work has been returned in its original packaging and without having been damaged, we will refund you the price initially paid. You will be responsible for the costs incurred for its return.
