The life of a tree

Manoj Tekam follows the lineage of his origin, Gond Art. A self-taught artist he has seen worldwide recognition as an invitee for multiple years at the International Folk-art Festival in Santa Barbara, USA. His shows at private galleries in India were a grand success which also brought his works in private collections in India and abroad. He is amongst the most renowned Gond Artists. He works were included in various publications, an achievement at his yet young age.

While retaining the Gond iconography and painting style his exploration is contemporary. There is an influence of animation films in his works. His style is vibrant and fluid.
