  • Kishore is the grandson of the legendary painter of the Warli tribe, Jivya Soma Mashe. Kishore interprets the art of warlis with his own themes. His style renews this ancestral art form with poetry and artistic freedom. Kishore accompanied his grandfather for the exhibition "Other Masters of India" at the Quai Branly museum in 2010. On this occasion, he participated in his first workshop abroad. Since then, he has had the opportunity to travel and present his works in particular in Amsterdam and Sao Paulo. In 2014, again in Paris, he created with his father Sadashiv, also a renowned painter, seven wall frescoes for the extension of the House of India at the Cité Internationale Universitaire. Seven paintings illustrating seven legends of the Warli tribe that can be visited during the open days of this magnificent University City.
