Bhupendar Bhagel works with dhokra, an ancient skill in bronze casting. This lost wax technique dates back more than 4000 years. Nevertheless, we recognize a contemporary creativity. He learned his trade from his father, the famous Jaidev Bhagel. Bhupendar was selected to make a sculpture of an English colonizer for the Oxford Museum in 2019.
